A Bit About Me
As a professionally trained coach, I am passionate about helping intelligent, intuitive, inspiring women break free from overwhelm and reconnect with their authentic selves.
My journey started in nursing, where I supported individuals in their most vulnerable moments. Over time, I became deeply frustrated with how traditional healthcare systems offer quick fixes rather than addressing the root causes of suffering. This frustration led me to explore holistic wellness strategies to help people achieve long-term well-being and fulfillment.
As a Health Director of a First Nation, I led a diverse team through complex challenges, and as a Clinic Lead, I managed the intricate logistics of a mass immunization clinic. These experiences taught me the importance of balance, clarity, and emotional resilience in leadership.
Along the way, I worked with life coaches who helped me transform my own burnout into clarity and purpose. Inspired by this, I combined my nursing expertise, leadership experience, and insights from traditional medicine into a unique, holistic approach to wellness for leaders. Now, I guide high-impact women to move from exhaustion and self-doubt to leading with calm, confidence, and alignment.

Right after graduating nursing school at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, I was hired on to a general medical surgical floor and started working as a bedside nurse. From my experience in nursing school, I knew floor nursing would not be for me long-term. I was good at it, but night shifts were terrible for my body and mental health, and I struggled with the moral distress of having to work too fast to really spend time caring for my patients. It felt like an unsafe setting from start.
A coach helped me to explore alternatives and I got courageous. I applied for and accepted a job at the local health unit to work on a COVID-19 specific health information phone line, and was later redeployed as a clinic lead for the immunization clinics. I am so grateful for this time, the community I found at the clinics during a time of isolation, and for the opportunity to take a break at the end of an intense leadership experience.
One of my unique wellness practices is taking mini-retirements between intensive work commitments. I love working hard and overcoming tough challenges, but find I need a break in between. I am not very good at sitting still - my body wants to be busy, but my mind and emotions need a break. So, I often spend my mini-retirements travelling, trying new things, and spending time with my family. With the help of a coach, I was able to step around my mental limitations of what retirement looks like, and do what I knew I needed to do for my own wellness and life enrichment.
My first mini-retirement I spent living at a zero-waste, multi-species animal rescue in Campeche, Mexico while learning skills related to expedition medicine and exploring local history, foods, and culture.
After returning from my adventures in Mexico, I took the opportunity to move to the Canadian West Coast with the hopes of inviting more adventure into my life. Once again, with the help of a coach, I got the courage to apply to a job that was exciting but felt way out of my league. I accepted the opportunity to work with a First Nation. The goal was to rebuild their Health and Social Services Department under the guidance of Chief and Council while advocating for better access to holistic Health and Wellness for Indigenous People, and helping the community members to navigate the complex health care system.
To take my mind off the stresses and worries of work, I chose to learn a new skill. I completed a 7 month intensive training to meet ICF Level 2 (PCC) Coaching Standards. With a focus on spirituality, this program helped me uplevel my resilience and inner wellness. Now I get to help people in the same way that coaches have helped me have the greatest experiences and opportunities in my life. I am so excited to be able to offer coaching support to brilliant, compassionate women!
